FELLOWSHIP

These are ministries of our Christian fellowship at St. Mary's. It helps our parish family grow stronger when those in need ask for help for it gives those willing hearts a chance to act.

Men's Fellowship Group: Meets Saturday mornings 8:00-9:00 in Turnbull Hall for fellowship and book study on Men's issues, our relationship to God, with our wives/significant others, etc. New faces are always welcome.

Women in The Word: Tuesdays 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the guild room. If you would like to deepen your faith through sharing of study, devotions and fellowship, you may like to come meet with us. This is an informal, friendly group of women, of varying ages, interests and knowledge. Some attend weekly, and some drop in and out depending on other demands on our lives. We have grown in our faith and in our friendship over the past years, and would welcome new members who would like to share this growth with us.

St. Elizabeth's Guild: This group of church women meet the 1 st Thursday of the month at 1:00 p.m. September through May. Guest speakers and light refreshments enhance the meeting. The guild holds fund-raisers, assists with coffee hours and community projects, drives for meals on wheels.

St. Mary's Guild: A progressive group of ladies who gather monthly on the 2nd Thursday at 1:30 p.m. for worship and fellowship, September through May. We welcome and look forward to new members who share their ideas and talents. Each year we hold a bazaar to support church projects. All churchwoman are eligible. Transportation can be arranged.

Camp Noel Porter: Camp Noel Porter is located in Tahoe City. For information on camp programs and registration, check in Turnbull Hall or call (916) 583-3014 and bring a friend. St. Mary's also plans a winter ski trip to Camp Noel Porter each year.

Foyer Groups: Formed each fall from a list of parishioners who have signed up for a round-robin of meals and fellowship in their homes. Groups of 6-8 randomly selected persons collectively decide on the format, dates and times of the get-togethers. Singles and couples are always welcome.

Newsletter, ST. MARY'S VISIONS: Published monthly to bring vital information on the life and events at St. Mary's to our parishioners.
