Know a Korean War Veteran? Veterans who served between the dates of 6/25/50 and 7/27/53 in Korea are eligible for the Korean War Service medal. Call Senator Hugh Farley’s office at 455-2181 for an application.
World War II and Korean War veterans who didn’t finish high school due to their military service are now eligible to receive high school diplomas under the Operation Recognition Program. If you or someone you know was honorably discharged after service in WWII or the Korean war, call Assemblyman James Tedisco’s office at 370-2812 for more information.
