Saint Petersburg Aikikai is under the direction of John Messores sensei, 6th dan (ASU and IAF/Hombu). After subsisting at various college, university & YMCA locations, Messores sensei opened The Aikido Dojo as a permanent training center of the Saint Petersburg Aikikai, affiliated with Aikido Schools of Ueshiba under the direction of M. Saotome shihan. If you are visiting the Tampa Bay area, please feel free to drop in for a visit and train with us. The USF Aikido Club is also under the direction of Messores sensei.
