II. GENERAL INFORMATION about SENIOR CENTER PROGRAMS
A. Program Fees
- The Director of the Senior Center leverages many external resources and the efforts of a large number of volunteers to fund and provide some Senior Center programs.
- As a result, some Senior Center programs can be made available free of charge for Sudbury senior citizens.
- However, the Town of Sudbury provides only a small amount of funding for Senior Center PROGRAMS.
- Thus, many Senior Center programs must have a fee to cover program expenses.
- If a program has an associated fee, then it is noted in the description of that program.
- See Funding of Senior Center Programs below for more information on funding sources.
B. Advance Registration, Enrollment, Reservations, or Appointments
- Some Senior Center programs require advance registration, enrollment, reservations, or appointments.
- The need to do so is noted in the individual program descriptions.
C. Popular Programs
- A few of the programs of the Senior Center are both very popular and have capacity limits.
- Such programs tend to fill up to maximum capacity rapidly or to quickly generate waiting lists.
- Such programs have a warning message in pink text in the individual program descriptions.
D. No Membership or Annual Dues
- There are NO requirements for Sudbury senior citizens to sign up for membership in or pay annual dues to the Senior Center in order to enjoy its programs and services.
