James grew up singing 60’s and 70’s tunes around the campfire
with his 9 older siblings - everyone in James’ family sings -
whoever is the loudest gets heard! James says he didn’t really
learn to sing “like a hippo” until he took voice lessons from
Diana Yampolsky (Raine - Our Lady Peace) in Toronto. Part
American Indian and born on the Fourth of July James likes cool
shirts, breaking guitar strings, and has more energy than Dennis the menace.
