BIO:
Hi,
My name is susi taylor, always spelled in lower case.
I live in Burton, Michigan which is a suburb of Flint.
I used to make my home in Texas, in San Antonio and
in Fort Worth. I have always wished to move back, but
something always gets in the way of that. Thus the
name, Texaswishr. But I do get back down there every
chance I get. I belong to Kerry's poetry group, also
Jenny's Friday group. And I have my own AARP Events
room on Thursday nights. We write forms of haiku and
there are between 10 and 15 poets in there each week.
Here is the link for it if you would like to attend.
You would have lots of fun and the chat can get really
hilarious. Thu - 9:30pm ET - Haiku Poetry Event
(accessible within AOL only). I love music and
have many favorites, but my very favorite of all time
is Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto. Yes, I'm a
classical fan. My best colors are earth tones, browns,
greens and also dark blue. I think I would have to say
that my favorite poet is JAVAN. He writes the best
romantic poems I have ever read. My favorite authors
are Sidney Sheldon and Judith Krantz but they are
awfully slow getting out a new books.I collect angels
of the male gender. Gabriel and Michael when I can
find them.
MY FAVORITE POEM
Just how high
Can the Human Heart rise
In a World so full of uncaring eyes
Where Animals suffer and Children die
And people fight Wars without knowing why
Where alcohol and drugs cause wasted lives
And shelters are full of unwed mothers and battered wives
But should the day come that man learns to care
And no longer wants just to take, but also to share
And he learns that everything has the right to live
And Life is something he can take, but can not give
When he learns to approach Life with a Heart full of Love
For everything on Earth and in the Heavens above
When he learns to do these things
He will have opened the door
To knowing just how high
The Human Heart can soar
From the book - A Heart Full Of Love
