Who I am:
My name is Barbara. I was born on July 7th, and I live near
Lake Erie in Pennsylvania. I have held many jobs over the
years; the first running a pet shop and the last managing a
small electronic repair business. I am presently on disability
as I suffer from fibromyalgia.
What I like to do Online:
I have recently joined a few online poetry groups, and like
checking out poetry sites and others poet's pages. I also like
to browse the web and do research, look at nature photos, and
listen to music from all over the world. When I get the urge
to shop I go "window shopping" on Ebay! And I love to chat with
my on-line friends.
My Interests and Hobbies:
I do pen and ink drawings and other arts and crafts, write
poetry and journal, am an avid reader on all subjects, an
amatuer photographer, and a self taught naturalist / zoologist.
I especially love birds, butterflies, and wildflowers. In the
winter you will find me indoors on the computer or doing
crafts. When the weather is nice you will find me outside
barefooted, tending my flowerbeds, watching the hummingbirds
and butterflies, and reading, drawing, or meditating in the
chaise lounge next to my goldfish pond.
