A self described Imagineer and Independant
Naturalistic Idealist,
Sun Gypsy has stood in the position of the East in the Living
Rainbow Medicine wheel and like the rising sun wishes to
represent light, communication and thought. She has produced
several independent Documentary films
including "Rainbow Dream" and "Rainbow Visions"
and "Chasing the Rainbow".
These films document the Culture and spirituality of Rainbow
Gatherings.
She has personally given copies of the films to Neil
Young, Woody Harlson.
She is the designer of inspirational Birthday and Solstice
Cards and Children's stories, the Novel
"Conscious Revolution". She is also the designer of the
Cosmic Wheel poster and
The four Directions Calendar Game which are
both visual representations
of Conscious Revolution which she believes
was channeled to her through a deep spiritual connection with the
great Mystery. She has givin workshops on the wheels at Anthology
Bookstore, Deja Vu Coffee house, Co. Rainbow Gathering, and
Dragonfest.
She is also a singer, guitar player and song
writer playing for the Green Party Fundraiser at
Avogadro's Number,
Fort Collins Colorado Suistainable Living Fair at the Lincoln
Center , Gathering of Eagles, at Mishawaka and the Java Lounge.
She has a CD called "Remember"
which is a collection of chants
and spiritual songs. Some are covers of
other songs heard at Rainbow Gatherings,
others are her orriginal creations. She has
also volunteered her time as a Tarot Card reader for the Food
Banks fund Raiser "Night of Magick" and the Fort
Collins Suistainable Living Fair.
She has won several art awards including
Special Avatar Creator from Microsoft for her
creation of several award winning Avatars
and she is also the creator of Virtual 3D Rainbow World.
She received an Associates Degree in Solar
Heating and Cooling Technology
in 1981 from Penn State University and has worked as an Engineer
for companies
including United Technologies, NJ Dept of Transportation, Hewlett
Packard and
Qwest and currently runs a computer lab in a
school.
She lives with her family in a modest passive and active Solar
House high in a cosmic Vortex
in the Rocky Mountains. They built the house
aligned with the four directions using
mostly recycled materials. The home was
featured on the
2003 Northern Colorado Solar Energy Society Tour of Remote Solar
Homes
and has been featured in the book Earth, Wind and Sun.
Kelly
is trying to change the world though art, word, song, film to a
more ecological, holistic, mystical reality. She 's a
revolutionary dreamer dreaming the ConsciousRevolution!
