The Hayabusa

WoW - what a bike or what an alien!

I did a top end run on it the other night (5-11-99)

and it was the first time I have been scared on a

stocker. On full throttle acceleration from a dead

stop, you can't just wack the throttle and wait for

the tachometer to hit red line - why you ask - cause

if you don't stay on top of the throttle the beast will

simply roll you over on your back. But anyway after

you get through first and second gear start paying

attention to whats ahead cause once you get to sixth

gear and the speedo is reading 200 mph vision is

almost gone cause of the high speed buffeting. I had

the speedo reading 204 and that's all I could see

then I had to shut it down and start looking for the

Black Bird that was following and watching from

somewhere behind!

- WOW - it was the biggest

rush I've ever had on a scooter yet.

Oh yea it still had more to go too, so we'll see what is

has left up its sleeve!

Wheelies - ha, just roll on the thottle lightly

back off when it starts to lift and shift into

second gear and away you go!

Handling is also just as good as power it has

more of that 600 like feel to it, when put into a

turn it's really stable with out throttle input

which I like cause you can controll the bike

instead of the engine controlling the bike.

I have found a couple of down falls but you

don't even think of them once you've felt

the power!!!!!!

As far as comparing power ; it's like saying you

have a 600 and a Black Bird (as a 1200) and a

the Hayabusa is an 1800 cc machine.

What I'm trying to say is The Busa pulls from

the Black Bird like the Black Bird pulls from

a strong 600!
