Important Hot Lap Timer Tips

The transmitter takes four AA batteries and the receiver takes one 9 volt transistor battery (not included). Make sure to always use Alkaline- batteries and always carry spares. It only takes about 5 minutes to install, but don�t wait to the last minute. I have found it best to mount the display somewhere on the dash so you don�t have to take you eyes of the track for very long. In general, the receiver will not receive the signal through glass, so it is best to mount it with a direct line of sight out an open window. It is also a good idea to mount the receiver on the side of the car which will prevent it from looking directly into the sunset when you drive by the transmitter.
