Printing and Cursive Tip #2

Problem: Your child tries hard but still can't seem to master forming cursive letters with pencil and paper.

Solution: "Giant writing"

Hang a large piece of kraft (brown) wrapping paper on the wall. Your child should use a thick-pointed colored marker to write the letters, in cursive, as large as she can and still write the letter in one movement. Make sure she has a model to work from; see the suggestion before this one ("A picture's worth a thousand words"). Such larger models will work better than smaller ones.
