burgertime page
End of Story
I acquired my BurgerTime on a road trip to NJ to pickup my Baby Pac-man game. I like hamburgers and have always liked this game. I had planned a trip to New Jersey to pickup my Baby Pac-man and thought it would be nice to kill 2 birds with one stone. My best friend Wade was looking for a Lunar Lander and we found one for sale in Wilmington Delaware which happened to be on the way to Maple Shade, NJ which is where the Baby Pac-man was located. Rob Kelly is the person who was selling the Lunar Lander and he had a list of other games that was for sale. You might have guessed BurgerTime was on the list. He emailed me pictures of the Lunar Lander and the BurgerTime and both games looked to be in great condition. To the left is the picture Rob sent of his BurgerTime. I thought this would be nice to kill 3 birds with one stone. We made the trip and my buddy bought the Lunar Lander and I bought the BurgerTime. It has made a great addition to my Game collection. If you ever get the chance to deal with Rob you can't go wrong, great guy to deal with.
Thanks, Rob
The game is in very good condition even thought it rained all the way back from NJ. We had the games wrapped in plastic but the plastic was to thin and the wind ripped it apart which let water get on and into the games. The only real damage was the back door which swelled on one corner enough so I had to cut off a little to make it fit. I was very lucky that was the only damage it suffered. As you can see the control panel has a few cracks in the bend which is not to bad but I plain to replace it with one from Arcade Renovations who is going to make them and also new pepper buttons and marquees.
This is still a very fun game to play and I plain on keeping it in my collection forever. :-)
