This is my second Stars pinball machine. My buddy Wade spotted 3 games at Langley
Auctions and gave me a call. I went to take a look to see if they were worth bidding
on. There were 2 pinball's (Stars and a hockey game) and a Boot Camp video
game. Well, I was short on space and already had a Stars but I figured I would
stay just to see how much they would bring. There was one other person that
wanted the Hockey pin. When the auctioneer got to the games he said he would sell
all 3 together high bid times 3. Well, I started the bid and was the high bidder
at $25.00. I did not want the pins so I took the Boot Camp and he asked if
anyone wanted the 2 pins $25.00 each. The other guy took the Hockey pin and no
one wanted the Stars so I said I would take it too. I figured for $25.00 I could
use the coin door for the one I had sense someone had striped the coin shoots
of it and I like to set my games up for . 984 tokens. After I got it home I found
out the MPU had the usual battery acid damage and someone had unplugged all
the connectors from all the boards. I plugged them back in and fired it up but
it did not boot which was no surprise. It should make a good winter project (like
I really needed another one) but it will keep till I get a round tuit :-) |
