How long has
Swimming Technology Research been around?
STR was incorporated in Florida (USA) in 1987 and has
been on the internet since 1996.
Who are your
customers?
STR has served customers from over 20 countries on 6
continents - swimmers, swim teams, coaches, physical therapists,
physicians, rowers, triathletes, and equipment companies. One of
our first Aquanex systems was installed in the flume at the
International Center for Aquatic Research (ICAR) at the Olympic
Training Center (OTC) in Colorado Springs.
What services
do you provide?
Every year we provide services to dozens of swim camps,
analyze hundreds of videotapes, and conduct thousands of Aquanex
trials. We train coaches and instruct swimmers in private,
clinic, and team settings. We provide consulting services to
individuals, teams, and companies - worldwide and year-round.
What products
do you have?
We have a product line that is geared for improving
athlete/patient performance and facilitating the role of the
coach/therapist. Our Aquanex systems are used for swimming,
rowing, aquatic therapy, and testing aquatic equipment. Our
Torpedo Expert System contains the information to master
competitive swimming skills faster. Our WorkOutWriter software
lets coaches design swimming workouts faster. (And, we have never
charged for a software upgrade!)
What can STR

Our consulting services can help take your program to
the next level. We provide program evaluation, coach training,
and consultation. We'll design an entire camp for your team or
just provide selected services.

We have the experts with answers. Most of our consultants have
extensive experience in three areas - as competitors, coaches,
and sport scientists. We can address almost any topic concerning
human performance.
Are your

We structure our services to meet the needs of our
customers. We work with all levels - from nonswimmers, summer
teams, and weekend triathletes to therapy clinics, equipment
companies, and Olympians.

So do most people. We'll tell you about how we work with
athletes, coaches, and administrators. The main goal of our
consulting services is to make you look good.
