NANA'S STORY NOOK

Nana would say, "Hug a tree every today!"

Today, I live amidst abundant blessings, although I have no wish to imply that I am rich with money. My enrichment comes from many sources and is drawn to me almost magically. A Spirit Guide that I know as Michael, guides and directs me. Outside my window, I view sailboats, sunsets, birds, squirrels, or deer frolicking in the snow depending upon the time and season.

Precious things surround me. Auntie Oh's cedar chest filled with faded antique lace and frilly aprons yellowing with age. Music, always the music, as my twin flame plays saxophone or flute. My earthly spiritual teachers are a phone call away, as are my adult children and grandchild.

It hasn't always been that way. I journeyed through HELL and back to attain wellness, wholeness and peace. If I could impart but one message to the world, I would say,
"We must stop the abuse and we have to begin with the children."

When I wrote the first word of the first chapter of
Chocolate Days and Shadows, I made a divine promise to the I AM that I would use the book as a vehicle to help the children. The promise was a driving force that compelled me to keep writing, to send the finished work to publishers, to face and overcome the rejections. My faith led me to a compassionate publisher friend named Sidney who held my hand and lead me through the edit process.

If I were ask to speak words of encouragement to the abused children, I would simply say,
"All things are possible. Only believe." I didn't write those words. I have only borrowed them from an old hymnal. These words are my mantra.

"ONLY BELIEVE
!"

Portions of  proceeds from "Chocolate Days and Shadows" are  donated to help the abused children.
