| This WWII 40mm bofors anti-aircraft gun was recently restored by the museum. The gun was completely disassembled and the components sand blasted or sanded clean of old paint. All worn bearings were replaced, and other damaged areas repaired. The gun was then painted and reassembled, and finally all lube points were filled with the proper lubrication. The complete project took about 400 man hours to complete. |
