1937 - The Flood. It rained... and more than sixty years later the great Flood is still remembered. January, 1937: for over a thousand miles the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers left their banks in the worst flood in American History. By the time it was over hundreds had died, property damages were in the untold millions and more than 800,000 people had been left at least temporarily homeless. Never before or since has there been anything like - The Flood of 1937.
The BELLE. Once there were thousands like her... now she's the last of her kind. For well past eighty years she has plied the inland waterways of America and her colorful history is filled with as many twists and unexpected turns as the rivers she's traveled. The BELLE OF LOUISVILLE is the last genuine, original working Mississippi-River style steamboat in the world. No other steamboat in American History has lasted as long, traveled as many miles, or been to as many places as the BELLE OF LOUISVILLE. (see "Delta Queen")

It Happened in Cleveland.A light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek look back on Cleveland's rich and varied history. From hilarious films of the 1946 Sesqui-Centennial celebrations to a nostalgic trip downtown shopping in the 1950s; from Elvis to Mr. Jing-a-Ling along with visits to Puritas Springs and of course Euclid Beach, this charming video will bring back warm memories of the way things used to be in the grand old city by the lake.
The EUCLID BEACH PARK Series. For more than three generations Euclid Beach Park was Cleveland's premiere amusement park. "Greetings from Coney Island, Cincinnati". Remember when the summer air was filled with the rattle and roar of the Shooting Star and the Wildcat? Dancing the night away in the Moonlite Gardens and long romantic cruises on the Island Queen? From its humble beginnings as a wooded picnic grove more than a century ago through its glorious heyday, demise, and marvelous rebirth, Cincinnati's Coney Island has captured the hearts of generations. Here is its story, filled with the sights and sounds of a simpler time - a story of summers filled with innocence, laughter, and joy.
"The Unsinkable Delta Queen". The rich and colorful story of one of the oldest working steamboats in the world. Fabricated in Scotland in the 1920s and shipped unassembled to California, the Delta Queen has served as an elegant overnight passenger boat; a Navy yard ferry in WWII and now offers luxury excursions along America's Inland Rivers. Her annual race with the
"Belle of Louisville" is an event that draws thousands of spectators each year.

"Roadsters, Rumbleseats and Country Drives".A nostalgic reflection on America's love affair with the automobile, featuring some the nation's most famous highways and byways such as Route 66, Lincoln Highway and the National Road. From Henry Ford's Model "T" to the classics of the 1930s and 40s, this video brings back the romance and the fun of the early autos and the roads that transformed America.
"Dream Trains, Short Hops & Whistle Stops" brings back the days when trains were the way to go. Scenes of steam locomotives and excursion trains(many still running today) set the stage for the fond memories of Americans who lived this bygone era of rail travel. Historic films and photographs capture nostalgic glimpses of small town depots and big city terminals in an America of long ago.
"The Signs and Rhymes of Burma Shave". For decades the Burma-Vita Company of Minneapolis entertained America's travelers with one of the most unusual roadside advertising campaigns ever. Millions of Americans fondly recall the clever jingles and the product they promoted. Here is the story of the company, the ad campaign and many of the memorable jingles that have truly become a part of Americana.

Most videos run approximately 45 to 60 min. long and are recorded in VHS SP mode for the highest quality. Each tape combines vintage films and photographs with narration to tell its story. Created over a period of ten years production values vary from program to program depending on when it was made and the quality of the historical footage, etc. available. In most cases these are the only programs available on these long - lost parks.
Other titles are in various stages of production and we are always looking for film of old amusement parks.
