WW2 J-38 Telegraph Key

WW2 J-38 KEY

WB6FZH's J-38 in use since 1962 and a WW2 Model

Features: J-38 Radio-Telegraph Key (WW2)

NOTE: This very key has been used at WB6FZH with many military and amateur radio configurations since 1962. The pine board was cut and sanded with felt glued to the bottom by WN6FZH. It came missing the knob for the switch lever, so an ARC-5 coupling control knob was added. A "Navy Knob" was added in the 1970s. The additional pressure created by using this device, caused metal fatigue requiring the contact lever to be reformed from time to time. The 1962 J-38 has returned to Northern California, while the WW2 Model is in Hawaii.

More Historical and Technical Information will be added later.
