bobbork.gif (51936 bytes)As I have traveled through cyberspace I occasionally come upon another web site that I find interesting. Listed below are several of those that pertain to the theme of my site. I enjoy seeing what others have done with the information that they have. These sites are related to the television and music of the babyboomer age. Enjoy them.

buttn19a.jpg (2561 bytes)One of the greatest television shows ever created was the Andy Griffith Show. Here is a site that pretty much has it all. Everything you would need to answer any trivia test. Aunt Bea would be proud.

buttn19d.jpg (2502 bytes)Television was so good back then that it is now the television of today. Several networks are currently airing most of those super shows. Nick-At-Nite is one of the best. Visit their web site for some fun.

buttn19c.jpg (2552 bytes)Some of the best music of that era came directly out of Motown....Gordy at his best. This is an exceptional site that has loads of audio for your listening pleasure. Don't miss checking out this super site.

buttn19g.jpg (2494 bytes)Hey, Hey....We're the Monkees!!!! Don't ask me why, but I loved the foursome. I never missed the show when it was on. Even if their musical skills were questionable at the start, they turned out to be pretty good.

buttn19e.jpg (2319 bytes)A web friend of mine forwarded this site to me, knowing how well I liked the Andy Griffith Show. This personal site is very fun and creative. This person should be proud. They obviously think Don Knotts is a god.

buttn19f.jpg (2729 bytes)This is the site....You can't miss seeing this in your travels through cyberspace. This is the "Temple of the Tunes".....the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame web site.

kroger.gif (2178 bytes)OK....so is this is a shameless attempt at advertising or a real cool web site? You be the judge. For obvious reasons, I enjoy checking it out every once in a while.

boomers.gif (21752 bytes)Whatever you do, you must visit
this site. It is a Babyboomer Link

other related locations. ---------->

wpe7.gif (19872 bytes)How'd they get the role?

Lassie picked Tommy Rettig for the role of the boy in Lassie. When the four finalists were
lined up, Lassie went to Rettig and nuzzled him. The producers were convinced that he was
the correct one for the part.

Bob Keeshan was working his way through college, hoping to become a lawyer, when he got a job as an NBC page. One day, Buffalo Bob Smith of The Howdy Doody Show offered him an additional $5 to help hand out prizes and carry props for the show. Soon afterwards, he was told to put on a clown costume to blend in with the atmosphere of the show. Clarabell was born.nodrink.gif (20764 bytes)

dobiegil.jpg (53402 bytes)Did you know that Dwayne Hickman had to dye his hair
blonde to play the part of Dobie Gillis?
