The Boob Tube

Ahhh.....television. One of the two mediums that molded and shaped our young nubile minds. Maybe that explains alot. Whether it was a situation comedy, western, newshour program, variety show, or cartoon, it all had some bearing on what we were to become later in our lives. It was the visual source of all that determined our morals, our wants, our needs, our ethics, and our cravings.
Some of my personal favorite shows were The Andy Griffith Show, Hogan's Heroes, Beanie and Cecil, Combat, Beverly Hillbillies, Red Skelton Show, Huckleberry Hound, and the original Mickey Mouse Club.
Not every show that came off of the boob tube worked to our advantage. Not
every show was a "four-star" program. Examples?.............
The Double Life of Henry Phyfe
I'm Dickens, He's Fenster
The Hathaways
Real Stinkers...
Love On A Rooftop
Everyone of them.
Pruitts of Southhampton
Ugliest Girl In Town
My Mother, the Car
