We soon found out, EACH ANGEL'S "MESSAGE!" IS A DISTINCT "MOVEMENT" (HANG ON TO YOUR HAT-!!!) WITH NEW "LEADERS!" (NEW MESSAGE - NEW LEADERS!) This was the LAST THING they wanted you to KNOW !!!! Therefore they hauled out "THE R&H CHOPPING BLOCK!" What they would CHOP OFF and send to the "DUMP!" We became VERY INTERESTED in WHO DID IT and WHY THEY DID IT - !!! |
| Thousands of changes have been made through the past 120 years . (even today) We have only skimmed the surface. The various types of changes mainly consist of : changes in text, additions to the text, omissions, deletions and erasures (also called "editing"), sentences cut in half or reversed, whole paragraphs missing, punctuation marks altered, and chapter headings altered (which change the inspired meaning or sequence of events.) A wrong impression has been created by footnotes which give the editor's opinion for the setting of statements Sister White made years earlier. Another change is introduced by the prefaces and introductions added to the various volumes years later than her original writings. These all alter, to some extent, the meaning of what she wrote, since she said definitely, that time and place should be considered in her writings (1SM 57). In attempting to evaluate the whole process we should try to understand why the changes were made. What were the objectives of these revered warriors who were trying to protect mother church and her kings and princes. In reviewing and cataloging the changes that have already been uncovered, several patterns develop. Basically, there was a low estimate of the testimonies and perhaps their human author (ELLEN WHITE). I believe this was more prevalent in the years from 1880. A resistance to definite counsel revealed the need to forsake human plans and inclinations. They despised "wisdom and Instruction, and understanding." We find the statements which were not flattering to the individual were changed, or if they were complimentary to one individual they were changed to apply to the "body." One such example can be found by comparing EARLY WRITINGS 256 to 1 spiritual gifts page 166. Other references that were derogatory to the group, or the body, or the church, were changed to apply to an individual. References that were derogatory to the leaders of the church were changed and aimed at the members of the church--or even outside the church. References derogatory to te leaders in a specific sense were altered to apply to the church in a broad sense Instead of to those responsible. Compare 3T 496 AND 497 to 3T 506 and 104, 105 and contrast this also with 5T 80. Testimonies that were not favorable to other denominations (especially Catholics) either historically or at the time the counsel was given, was altered in an inconsistant way. Sometimes changes were almost juvenile. Counsels giving the impression that the denomination was not approved by the Lord, or that the whole church organization would not take part in the Loud Cry, were smoothed over or given a change of emphasis. The whole thing started in the early 1880's. Undoubtedly there was considerable discussion between individuals who later instigated the changes--almost a conspiracy. At the General Conference in 1883 a committee was voted to edit the TESTIMONIES. Uriah Smith was chosen as chairman of a committee of five which included Willie White who was instrumental in having many of the changes made. Uriah Smith is documented in the SDA Encyclopedia as being in opposition to Sister White during these years. In the 1888 Indianapolis meetings, and rejected some testimonies she sent to him. Note that this is the same year he published the changed Great Controversy (of which we found actual quotes in it from is book Daniel and the Revelation). In spite of this skepticism he was chosen chairman of the committee to edit the Testimonies. This alone tells somewhat about the respect the leadership had for the Spirit of Prophecy. Sister White was not aware of these changes in the 1884 GC for various reasons. Many of them were made in German or other foreign languages which she could not read. Also during a European (1885-1887 messenger to the remant page 57 by Arthur L White) trip when the changes began to be planned and the libraries of Europe were consulted, she was kept so busy with meetings (it would seem that this was part of an intentional plan) that she had very little time to do more than keep up her diary and correspondence-- Historical Sketches 174. But the Lord revealed it to here later in the SALAMANCA VISION OF 1890 after the 1888 GC came out. Ellen White was aware of the Testimonies and certain SDA publications being changed as early as 1882. And sometimes she knew what was going on but the Lord: "Some things I cannot mention. I was bidden to let no one know in regard to this, for much was yet to be developed." {5T 68.1}

Uriah Smith, one leg amputated at the age of 13, began his religious career in a Worldly Institution, Philips Exter Academy, 1848-1851. 2 years later he unloaded some of his ideas in a crippled Offering "The Warning Voice of Time and Prophecy" a 35,000 word "Poem". That is why you see silly poetry slipped in around Sr. White's R&H and Austrailian Record Articles ever since. Babylonish indoctrination from the tender and critical age of 16 to 19 set the pace for him to CHANGE the TESTIMONIES as soon as ever he could work it when he joined his Sister in the R&H Offices at the age of 21. Thus we have a Judas in the camp, 50 years of Uriah Smith. 1853-1903 P. 1200 SDA Encylopedia = SDA-BC Vol. 10, 1966. His Mentor was Charles Spurgeon =English Baptist preacher 1834-1892.The one worked from the outside of the church the other worked from the inside. He removed all Signs of the Order of the 3 Angels messages by changing the Chapter headings . He destroyed the evidence that there are 3 "BABYLONS" REV 17 ROME ,REV 14 PROTESTANTS , REV 18 IN A MESSAGE YET FUTURE WILL GO TO SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS AND TO THE ALL THE WORLD! Rev. 18 is found 189 pages later in your changed version. he removed all evidence That there is a "MESSAGE!" and a "MOVEMENT!" "YET FUTURE" . (1884 GC 232-421) He wanted all Adventists to think that they would be the only movement until Jesus comes but this is false ! He destroyed the evidence that the SDA Church is following Jerusalem of Old and will come to the same FATE. That she will NOT give the LOUD CRY! But will be our most BITTER ENEMY ! GC 608 Will not recognize the loud cry TM 300, 507. To further confuse this people he took 4 pages on the "SNARES OF SATAN" 1884 Original GC 337-340 completely out of your version of the 1888-1911 GC which says that satan will "secure the world and the CHURCH (SDA) IN exalting the Sabbath of (satan's ) creating" THATS RIGHT SDA'S WILL GIVE UP THE SABBATH AND KEEP SUNDAY!. And the 1884 GC 426 says " As the storm approaches , a large class who have professed faith in the third angel's message, abandon their position and join the powers of darkness" that's right the SDA church gives up the sabbath and keeps sunday before it is even forced upon the rest of the world THIS IS YET FUTURE but they are RAPIDLY going step by step now !!! No wonder Uriah Smith changed this !

| THE GREAT CONTROVERSY is the most important book she ever wrote. That is why SATAN and Uriah Smith changed it in 1888. And that was much of the fight of 1888. And that's why they hid the evidence of 1888. What is the difference between 1884 original and your 1911 fake/hoax ???? . The SDA denomination admits it in Messenger to the Remnant page 65 written by Arthur L. White , EG White's grandson :" That in the republications of these volumes, such verbal changes be made as to remove the above-named imperfections, as far as possible, without in any measure changing the thought; and further, That this body appoint a committee of five to take charge of the republication of these volumes according to the above preambles and resolutions....W C White , Uriah Smith (chairman) , J.
