Objection to the Gospel of Jesus Christ #7: "The Gospel of Jesus Christ is a religion which no one can do. It's too complicated."

No one can do it. Absolutely. It is God who is non-metaphorically in us as real, literal new creations in Jesus Christ who performs all through us for us. We cannot earn ANY righteousness as our righteousness is the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ to us. God explicitly says as spirit and as life that He does both the willing and the doing through us and in us:

Phil 2:13 for it is God who works in you both the willing and the working according to [his] good pleasure.

The 'you' is real and literal new creation in Jesus Christ. It is only the speech of sin, in acknowledgment of its powerlessness to create anything that lies and says you must earn your way to heaven in "free will". (The lie of "free will" seems to legitimately create earning as a logical and emotional imperative. But it is a lie and of the old creation, not the new.) Understanding of the truth of God is only done exclusively in the new creation--not the old. There is no such thing as free will. It is God who works in us to do all that is necessary both for salvation and to have fruit in Him.

Rom 9:16 So then not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shews mercy.

Psa 57:2 I will call unto God, the Most High; unto ^God that performeth [all] for me.

Job 23:14-16 For he will perform is appointed for me; and many such things are with him. Therefore am I troubled at his presence; I consider, and I am afraid of him. For God hath made my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me;

The truth of God is simple: He speaks, you hear His voice and know His voice and are born again. There is no earning being born again. It is a free, irresistible gift of God as that which is created cannot resist its own creation.

Rom 5:15 But [shall] not the act of favour [be] as the offence? For if by the offence of one the many have died, much rather has the grace of God, and the free gift in grace, which [is] by the one man Jesus Christ, abounded unto the many.

In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
