SOUL LAMENT is looking for a new bass player.  Aaron is leaving us in the Fall to go to school.  Interested, or know someone who is?   Please contact us at any of the addresses or telephone numbers listed in the site for details and an audition.

SOUL LAMENT has been rocking the Rocky Mountain region for over four years. This Colorado Springs, Colorado based, four-member band's alternative - rock sound is derived from each individual member's varied influences. Boyce's influences tend to be more "folksy" in nature, while Jerrod's are more intricate with examples like The Dave Matthews Band. Steve's influences are metal, pop, Texas blues and hip-hop, and Aaron's range from Dave Matthews to Bella Fleck and the Flecktones. Although Soul Lament's sound is shaped by each member's musical bias, there are a few collective influences such as Candlebox, U2 and Korn. Their first collaboration in the studio resulted in the 6-song CD titled "22 TowerBridge Road". The CD's all original songs are titled: Passion's Sweet Obsession, 22 TowerBridge Road, The Things Left Behind, Down Virginia Way, Me and Why? They also recorded a live CD at the Bluebird Theater in Denver, CO called (duh?) "Soul Lament Live at the Bluebird".  Soul Lament's third CD is tentatively titled "November" and will be completed soon.
