CSI typically purchases off-the-shelf equipment and redesign these products for U.S. Government compliance with the following requirements:
TEMPEST - Electomagnetic Interference (EMI) - Environmental - Rugged
The compliant product is then manufactured at CSI for U.S. Government programs. When a product is being designed for TEMPEST requirements, it is submitted to the National Security Agency for endorsement under the NSA Endorsed TEMPEST Products Program (ETTP). To date, CSI has achieved U.S. Government endorsement and listing of 22 products on the Endorsed TEMPEST Products List (ETPL).
CSI also commonly supplies "Designed to Meet" products.
