Do you know where there is another rare Frati Orchestrion like this? This piece came from Europe in the early 1970's and awaited restoration until the Cooleys acquired it several years ago. This piece has been restored to be a FULL orchestrion, complete with drums, wooden bar xylophone, pipes, etc. The colorful silver and golden glass panels were restored to their original beauty by "rediscovering" the original process. Original-style lamps with glass bead fringes (not shown) were found in Switzerland to finish out this magnificent restoration.
