Heinz Jaeger and Wolfgang Brommer
In 1988 the master organ builders Heinz Jaeger and Wolfgang Brommer founded the workshop, Waldkircher Orgelbau - Jaeger und Brommer (German Organ Company).
Heinz Jaeger and Wolfgang Brommer are both passionate musicians who are at ease in many different music genres and one can sense this versatility in every note of a Jaeger & Brommer instrument.
After many years of travel and work in different organ factories, their common desire was to produce organs of the highest quality - a 200 year tradition in their hometown. They are now the largest organ building firm in Waldkirch.
The first pieces of work were praised by organ experts and organists. Within a very short period one order followed the other. The consistently impeccable work of their artisans is an excellent reference and contributes to their success. With a Jaeger & Brommer organ you get an original, hand-crafted musical instrument in the old world tradition from the most famous organ-building town in the world.
Today, 12 organ builders work in the workshop. The team is growing with the number of organs to be produced. In the field of restoration they have been able to save precious instruments. Their long experiences in this field was consequently transferred to the instruments. As restorators of mechanical and pneumatic organs Jaeger and Brommer has an international reputation.
