Remember when you were a kid looking at all the
incredible box artwork of the
AURORA
classic monsters, how bad you wanted to purchase
these kits, only to find that the actual kit did
not resemble anything close to the artwork?
Well, now they do! |

Another winner from
Monsters in Motion
that features the beautiful Aurora art work of James
Bama (sculpted by Jeff Yagher) in a 3D model
kit. |
| |
| This is the third kit in the Aurora
Box Art Series. and (in my opinion) the most
challenging, thus far. |
| |
| Painting Jekyll to look like the
original Box Art was not an easy task but it was far
more fun than working on all of the bottles. |
| |
| I'm the type of person that enjoys
doing the figure portions of figure kits but I'm not big
on doing the props that go along with the figures. |
| |
The bottles (as you can see) are
molded in clear resin. These do NOT come with the actual
kit but can be purchased from
"Monsters In
Motion" as a separate order.
Although these are clear, they are not as see-through as
I would like. |
| |
Unlike the Phantom and the Wolfman
kits, this one doesn't come with a Nameplate.
I was lucky enough to obtain a nameplate from a fellow
modeler (who goes by the handle of Samson141)
whom I met at the
Clubhouse Model Building Message Board. He created
and sent me the nameplate that you see in the first
photo. |
| |
Thanks,
Samson.
It makes this kit look even better. |
| |
| I'll give this kit an
A-
and I'd recommend it to all of you
Aurora fans. |
