GROWING UP WITH MONSTERS!
My WITCH Story
The Witch AKA the Salem Witch.
I'd seen an original Aurora Factory buildup of this kit
in a window of a hobby shop in 1976.
I just couldn't get into this kit as a kid.
I guess that I felt it was a girl's model kit because it
was only girls that dressed up as Witches on Halloween.

This Model kit is an Aurora Reissue
and was Produced by
Polar Lights

I never owned this kit until I was an adult (when Polar
Lights released it) and that was probably a good thing
because there are lots of tiny pieces and much going on
with this kit, I would have just made a mess out of it as
a child.

I'm told that Aurora released this kit (along with The
Bride of Frankenstein) in hopes of getting little girls
interested in model building.
I'm not sure that the plan worked.

As a kid, I ran into plenty of girls who had Brothers
that built these model kits but I never met a girl that
built and painted them, herself.
And why would they?
Just like I didn't want to play with Baby Dolls, girls didn't
want to build Monsters.

The Movie
Although I'm sure that there are plenty of movies
based on the Witches of Salem Massachusetts,
there was never a movie that featured this particular Witch.
