(Animal Man #1) When stuntman Buddy
Baker was abducted by aliens, he was merged with the Morphogenetic Field
known as the Lifeweb. By tapping into the Lifeweb, Buddy is able to temporarily
gain the ability of any animal on Earth from bird's flight to a rhino's strength.
Between raising a family in San Diego, Animal Man acted as a part-time hero;
teaming up occasionally with the Forgotten Heroes and Justice League Europe.
After the Infinite Crisis, Buddy was stranded in space. During his attempt
to return to Earth, he was killed. The Aliens that first gave him his powers
resurrected as the Animal Master with the ability to gain the powers of
extraterrestrial lifeforms.

BLUE BEETLE III (Unique) (Jaime

(Infinite Crisis #5) After Ted
Kord is murdered, the blue beetle scarab is given to the wizard Shazam. But
when the Rock of Eternity is destroyed, the scarab crash-lands in El Paso,
Texas, and is discovered by teenager Jaime Reyes. While asleep, the
scarab fuses to Jaime's spine. The magical scarab creates armor, weapons
and defensive systems for Jaime and appears to have a dislike of Green Lanterns.
After helping destroy the Brother Eye during the Infinite Crisis, Jamie returns
to Earth where he learns he has been missing for a year.

the 25th century using a stolen time machine. Accompanied by this robot pal
Skeets, Booster used a LSH flight ring and force-field generator to become

the Conglomerate. The good times didn't last when Booster went bankrupt and
was his career was considered a joke. After his best-friend Blue Beetle was
murdered and Superman's disappearance, Booster strived to recapture his hero
image as Metropolis' premiere hero.

and in hiding after informing on Monsieur Mallah.

through narrow spaces, contort himself around victims and armed with poison
fangs, Copperhead became an super-assassin. He gained even more power when
he was transformed into a true snake-man by the demon Neron. After doing
battle with Starman Jack Knight, Copperhead was killed by Manhunter Kate

Superman failed to save the space shuttle Excalibur, astronaut Hank Henshaw
was transformed in an energy being. His consciousness merged with Superman's
abandoned birthing matrix. Hank's hatred with Superman grew as he travelled
through space, eventually growing a cybernetic body combined with Kryptonian
DNA. Returning to Earth, Hank posed as a reborn Superman. His true nature
was revealed when he allied with Mongul to destroy Coast City. Hal Jordan
seemingly destroyed the Cyborg Superman. But Henshaw has proved extremely
resilient; escaping death in the bottle city of Kandor, the Phantom Zone,
Apokolips and even the Marvel Universe.

of Triplicate Girl's bodies was killed by Computo, Luornu Durgo discovered
that she could still split into two. Renaming herself Duo Damsel, Luornu
remained a member of the Legion. She later married fellow teammate Bouncing
Boy. Each of Duo Damsel's bodies are identical but can operate independently
from each other. When rejoined, all memories are shared. Even in singular
form, Duo Damsel has twice the strength of a normal human and can fly with
the aid of a Legion flight
