(Fantastic Four Annual #6) The
insectoid despot hails from the Negative Zone. Fearing his own death from
the power of his Cosmic Control Rod, Annihilus will destroy anyone he perceives
as a threat, including his frequent foes, the Fantastic Four. He infrequently
teams up with Blastaar, another villain from the anti-matter dimension. Thanks
to his highly evolved exo-skeleton, not only does he have super strength,
but can also fly and with stand the cold vacuum of space.

(Avengers #181) Using technology
developed by Dr. Henry Pym, the original Ant-Man; Scott Lang can shrink down
to sub-atomic sizes and affect the same change in others as well. Ant-Man's
cybernetic helmet allows him to communicate with insects and his "stingers"
can deliver a powerful blast. Originally a criminal, Lang stole Pym's Ant-Man
technology, planning to use it to rescue a surgeon who could save Lang's
daughter. When Pym discovered why Lang has stolen the equipment, he allowed
him to keep it as long as he promised to use it for good. Although he considers
himself a part-time hero, the second Ant-Man has gotten small to help the
Fantastic Four, Heroes for Hire and the Avengers.

T'Chaka, was murdered by Klaw, T'Challa became the Black Panther to avenge
his death. He is at the peak of physical prowess, aided by a heart-shaped
herb that grants him strength. He wears vibranium claws and boots that allow
him to leap great distances and literally walk up walls! Not only a super-hero,
T'Challa is the king of Wakanda; the richest and most technically advanced
of all African nations.

villain to bear the name Blizzard, Donald Gill uses his battlesuit to project

strong enough to dent steel. Up until recently, the Blizzard has been in
the employ of Justin Hammer, whose missions have brought Blizzard in direct
conflict with the hero Iron Man.

but has since moved on to accepting contracts from the Kingpin as a member
of the Sinister Syndicate.

BROTHERHOOD OF EVIL MUTANTS

Formed by Magneto, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants is dedicated to mutant
superiority over humans, either by subjugating or eradicating them all together.
The original Brotherhood was Magneto, Toad, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Blob
and Mastermind. Later incarnations included Unus the Untouchable and Lorelei.
When Mystique took over the Brotherhood, she gained the unwitting support
of the US government and the group was rechristened Freedom Force. Pyro,
Avalanche, Blob, Rogue, Destiny, Spiral, Crimson Commando and Silver Sabre
were members of Freedom Force and fought against both the X-Men and Avengers
on several occasions. A third incarnation of the Brotherhood was formed by
Toad which included Blob, Pyro, Thornn, Sauron, and Phantazia. |

Schlichting was a small-time hood who was outfitted by the Corporation and
given work as a hit man. Constrictor's contracts have pitted him against
Captain America, Iron Man and the Hulk. He has been a partner in crime with
Sabretooth, Titania, the Masters of Evil and Deadpool; though he'd rather
kill the latter. Constrictor is armed with vibranium coils that he uses to
strangle enemies and can conduct powerful electrical bursts.

more people he controls, the greater his strength. His schemes have always
met defeat at the hands of Iron Man.

artist Stick, when his father was murdered. Matt became the Daredevil and
avenge his death. Not content to fight for justice in the streets, Matt crusades
against injustice in the courtroom as a lawyer with his partner Foggy Nelson.
Over the years he has battled against Bullseye, Kingpin and Mr. Hyde.

and astrally project himself. He uses power of the Eye of Agamotto against
dread foes like Nightmare and Dormammu.

other! This reluctant team of heroes was soon joined by Valkerie, Hawkeye,
Black Knight, Hellcat and Nighthawk to make one of the quite possibly the
most powerful superhero teams ever assembled. |

was expert martial artist when she met Matt Murdock in college. The two fell
in love but the relationship ended when Elektra's father was killed. Distraught,
she joined the ninja clan, the Hand, and became an assassin using deadly
Sais. She was hired by Kingpin to kill Foggy Nelson, but when she backed
out, she was murdered by rival Bullseye. Elektra was eventually resurrected
by Daredevil.
