This mandolin is #15 and was built in 1995 by Luthier John Gathright of Foreman, Arkansas. Since that time, the builder no longer builds this headstock design, making this paticular instrument very unique. It has beautiful highly flamed maple back and sides and spruce top and posesses that deep, rich woody tone with crystal clear highs. This paticular instrument was compared to and preferred over a vintage Loar.

This 1979 D-18 Martin guitar is in very good condition. No cracks or damage, and no repair work has ever been performed or needed on this instrument.
It has a few scratches on the top from playing.
