The Web is a publication focusing on bringing together the Pagan community in the Carolinas and surrounding area. It is published five times per year, with four issues at the Cross-Quarters (Samhain, Imbolc, Beltane & Lammas) and an annual Pre-Yule shopping and Resource Guide. |
Each issue will center around discussion of a special topic. In addition, we will include:~ Articles explaining our unique interpretations of the current position on the Wheel of the Year and ideas for its celebration, including rituals, crafts and other expressions of our spirituality. ~ Artwork and cartoons from some of the best local and national Pagan artists. ~ Schedules of events from groups in our area and other networking and contact information. Open groups will receive free *display* ads in which to list their schedules. ~ Information on upcoming festivals and gatherings, including regional and national events that might be of interest to our readers. ~ Pagan news, national (court cases, mentions of Paganism in the mainstream media, updates on national organizations), as well as local events (handfastings, paganings). ~ Ads featuring Pagan shops, craftspeople and mail order companies. ~ Contact listings where you can start a group, look for a teacher, research a tradition, find a pen pal, seek information or resources, and much more. Each subscriber and all new groups will receive a FREE contact listing to help in the networking progress! |
We have arranged for several regular features usually seen in larger
publications, including:
~ Jane's Tidings(A compilation of court cases, reports on Pagans in the mainstream media and other items of national significance.) ~ The Mystic's Wheel of The Year(Excerpts from An Eco-Egalitarian Creation Spirituality Calendar which lists holidays and celebrations from a vast variety of belief systems.) |
