The first million Pioneer
Zephyr miles are celebrated on December 29, 1939. Now the Burlington
Zephyr fleet logs over 6,000,000 miles per year.
Winter and summer, the
Pioneer Zephyr performs with round-the-clock efficiency. Here it
slashes through a snowdrift at high speed.
Guest of honor at its
tenth birthday party, the Pioneer Zephyr cuts its own cake at Lincoln,
