ABOUT THE CLINIC

The Country Cat Clinic is a feline only veterinary practice located about 10 - 15 minutes from Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Northville, Canton, Plymouth, and South Lyon. The clinic is on the same premises as Territorial Veterinary Clinic and Freedom Fields Farm.We are a full service facility offering a relaxed, personalized, and caring atmosphere. Most importantly, we love cats.

ABOUT DR. KRISTINE KAUFELD

I graduated from Michigan State University in 1983 as a doctor of veterinary medicine and then entered into an internship to furthered my education at the University of Pennsylvania. Upon completion I ventured into private practice. I have specialized in feline medicine and surgery since 1987 and have loved every minute. I co-own the Ann Arbor Cat Clinic and opened the COUNTRY CAT CLINIC in 1995 at the site of the old 'Territorial Veterinary Clinic' on my horse farm. I breed and sell thoroughbred and warmblood horses with about 50 horses residing on the farm. I am also lovingly owned by one dog, 3 barn cats and 5 house cats.

Friday 8 am - 6 pm
Saturday and evenings available by appointment

Directions to the COUNTRY CAT CLINIC
From Plymouth, Canton and Northville:
M-14 west to the Gotfredson Rd. exit. Turn right off the exit ramp and head north on Gotfredson Rd. for approximately 1/2 mile. Turn left on Territorial Rd., travel 3 1/2 miles and the Country Cat Clinic will on your left (north side). Alternatively, take Beck Rd. to Territorial Rd. and travel west for about 6 miles. Clinic is one mile beyond Curtis Rd (4-way stop) on the right (or north).
From Ann Arbor:
South, East and Northeast-----Take US-23 to the Plymouth Rd exit. Head east past the Domino's Complex to Dixboro Rd. Turn left (or north) on Dixboro Rd. for about 4 miles to Pontiac Trail (flashing light). Turn right and very shortly you will come to a 4-way stop. Turn right (or east) onto Territorial Rd. and the clinic is 1 mile down on the left (or north).
West and Northwest and Dexter area---- Take M-14 to the Barton Drive exit. Turn right of exit ramp and head north on Whitmore Lake Rd. Just past the Washtenog Memorial turn right onto Warren Rd for about 1 1/2 miles to the stop sign at Pontiac Trail. Turn left onto Pontiac Trail, past the flashing light to the 4 way stop at Territorial Rd. Turn right and the clinic is 1 mile on the left.
From Brighton area:
Take US-23 south to the Territorial Rd. exit. Turn left (or east) onto Territorial Rd. for 6 1/2 miles. The clinic will be 1 mile beyond the 4-way stop on your left (or north).
