The French Middle Ages: Located at the French embasy in Canada, lots of detailed information.
BibliothËque nationale de France: Gives general information, as well as instructions for using the online catalogue, BN-OPALE. The database is large, but not fully retrospective. Searching is slow, with no keyword option (yet), and the hours are quite limited. The exhibit on Charles V includes marvelous illuminations.

Patrologia Latina Database: (Univ of Mich access only): Now complete in 221 volumes, this includes the work of patristic and medieval authors from Tertullian (ca. A.D. 200) to Innocent III (d. 1216). Images can be displayed, including non-Roman characters (excluding Greek, which will be fixed at a later date). The retrieval interface, which permits compound and proximity searches, is being redesigned locally, so please forward any comments or suggestions.

Vikings in Spain
This is the web site of the UK's oldest and largest dark age 900-1066 re-creation society which re-enacts military conflict, living encampments and villages, ecclesiastcial life and most recently has started the Guild of Viking Navigators. They cover ethnic groups - welsh, vikings, saxons and normans.
Vulgate Bible: Because there are so many versions of this available, it may be helpful to recommend the one mounted by the ARTFL project at the University of Chicago, which provides a superior search interface.
