Siggie, Leo, Max, and Tiger Penoza

Siggie, Leo, Max and Tiger belong to Tom and Cherie Penoza of New Castle, DE. Siggie and Leo are 6 years old. Max and Tiger are brothers and are 11 months old. Siggie is a chocolate dachshund. He was born in Lewes, Delaware. Leo was rescued in early September 1998 from Lebanon, Ohio. He is a dapple. He was dumped out of a car and abandoned in Ohio. We flew out and got him at Kathleen's Wiener Ranch then flew him home. Max and Tiger were born in Michigan. Their mother was rescued at the Weiner Ranch and she was cared for by Deb Boucher Dachshund Rescue of Ohio in Michigan at the dachshund rescue. Once she had Max and Tiger she was nursed back to health and adopted. Max came home with us but Tiger was very sick and stayed in Michigan. He almost died and Deb took him to Michigan State University where he was operated on and had a complete recovery. Tom went and got him and he flew to his new home in Delaware first class on USAir. He was reunited with his brother, Max, and they are best friends. All four get along great.
