Waterfalls are my favorite photographic subjects.
The first set of falls comes from the Southern Appalachians in and around Georgia. For more detailed descriptions of and directions to the falls on this page, see Mark Morrison's Waterfall Walks page and buy his books; he describes them in minute detail.
The second set of falls are from Arizona, taken during my tenure as an Army attorney at Fort Huachcua, Arizona.
The third set of falls comes from the four days I spent in Iceland in September 2000. More Icelandic photos appear on my Iceland page. Iceland is like no other place on earth, and it is a waterfall lover's paradise.
The last set of waterfalls comes from the Appalachians again (other than Tioga Falls, which spills off the Cumberland Plateau in Kentucky) and were taken with a Mamiya C330f medium format camera in order to preserve more details. The photos used to appear as a separate medium format page on my site.
