Gravesite of unidentified tornado victim

This gravesite in the Woodward cemetery serves as a poignant reminder of how terrible the 1947 tornado was. The storm tore apart not only buildings, but also families. In the brutal aftermath of the disaster, three girls were never identified. One was laid to rest under this headstone, her name to remain forever a mystery.
