leading from the Central Station, is Amsterdam's main shopping area.

Jordaan-delightful little shops and boutiques. Some
second hand and antique shops.

DIAMONDS-Amsterdam is the place to look at diamonds. The
prices are usually more reasonable than you would find elsewhere, since it
is a center of diamond trade. You can take a free conducted tour of
a diamond workshop, and see diamonds being cut and polished.

Magna Plaza Shopping Center-19th century monument converted
into a shopping mall. Great cafe on the 2nd floor- Cafe Ristretto.

Markets-There are several excellent markets in Amsterdam.

Albert Cuypstraat: has an assortment of
exotic fruits and vegetables, and fish. You can also find an enormous
selection of inexpensive clothes, shoes, and other items.
