Questions and Answers

Q. - Why is the Tri-Loop rest in the shape of a triangle instead of some other shape?

A. - A triangle mounted in the position that it is will force the arrow back into the exact same position for every shot. Other shapes would not perform that function as well. With this function, you will maintain a proper center shot. Also with a symmetrical triangle, you are able to adjust the center shot with pin-point accuracy.

Q. - Do I really need to set the center shot?

A. - There are a couple of reasons to set the center shot which applies to compound bows. If the center shot is not set - 1. the arrow will have a very erratic flight which will not be consistant, therefore having less accuracy. If the arrow has movement in that fashion, it is obvious that the string will do the same. 2. You will have a loss of the potential energy from the bow as it is released. Because a small portion of the energy will be pushing at an angle, causing the arrow to over flex, therefore creating a decrease in speed and penetration. So as you can see, getting the center shot improves arrow flight, accuracy, speed, penetration, and promotes a smooth, sage operation of the bow. Shooting off the shelf is not recommended with a compound bow due to the shelf on the riser is not really designed for that purpose.

Q. - Will it slow my shooting down?

A. - To start with, it may slow you down slightly, for reloading the arrow. But after a short time of using your Tri-Loop, you will be back up to speed or better with no problem. In fact, you will actually become more efficient in your shooting time because you don't have to worry about the arrow falling off the rest, or the line getting tangled regardless of the position of the bow. All you have to concentrate on is sticking a fish.
