Emerson
Emerson sets, while not spectacular technically, had nice cabinets A lot of variations on the same themes. Check out the Sunburst midget set.
This Emerson Explorer 888 is a beautiful example of the early Emerson transistors. The gray nylon "Nevabreak" case is in perfect shape, and the set is complete with its' wire stand. It claims to be a "pocket" radio, but you'd be hard pressed to find a pocket it would fit in.
I thought you'd like to see my newest Emerson 561. This handsome set is distinguished by its reverse painted gold front.
Now I've got another of these beautiful Emerson 561's. This one is a striking ivory color.
Did I fool you? The ivory set is a minature. It is a bank. Save your pennies and you can own an Emerson, too. On the back, it says "Emerson Radio" in big red letters.
This Emerson 707B was given to me by a neighbor. If you have the center medallion for the tuning knob, please contact me.
This Emerson 507 was a terrific swap meet find.
This Emerson 511 came to me as part of a good 'net trade.
