. . . . Now with CyberOptics touchless laser centering, the system can place today's entire range of components at 3,500 pph. For fine-pitch devices below 20 mil, an affordable operator-assisted vision system can be added to aid in placement alignments.
. . . . ECM-97BL includes a convenient slide-out tray that permits board access and loading the front of the machine. This allows larger boards - 14" x 17.5" - or palletized boards to be processed. Holds 190 Intelligent Feeders

. . . . HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA - Manncorp's latest offering in the pick and place arena offers a capacity for up to 190 intelligent tape and/or stick feeders that can be programmed on- or off-line. These feeders feature a unique "drawer" design which enables them to be reloaded even while the machine is operating, reducing production downtime.
. . . . The CLM-9000 pick and place machine also comes standard with a universal CAD download program that will convert ASCII CAD data from any CAD program in minutes. This universal CAD converter eliminates the need to bring CAD data into an editing program for manual formatting - nor do CAD files need to be sent to the system's manufacturer to be formatted to work with the placement software.
. . . . Another feature is the "Virtual View" program, which can be used in conjunction with converted CAD data or the built-in teaching camera. Virtual View is used to program and view components as they would actually appear on the PCB. Once teach-in or CAD conversion is complete, Virtual View can be used to QC and adjust placement programming before production begins.
