| Set in the heart of the Wyre Forest, Tudor Barn
offers guests Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a Grade II listed
building that dates from the 16th century. Originally a working farm barn
it has been sympathetically and lovingly restored by its owners, Trish and
Harry Page.
Ben and his friends are on hand to
welcome guests to Tudor Barn.

Beryl the Dexter |
The surrounding pastureland is now used for
breeding our pedigree flock of Ryeland sheep, bred from show champion
stock. Also resident are Daisy, Pippa, Bramble and Beryl the Dexter cows. |
Guests are offered the following peaceful and
traditionally hospitable accommodation in the barn and
stable. Due to the nature of the building there are some
steps to be negotiated
 |
The Barn Room - within the barn itself, this delightful
room, having original beams and features, offers guests luxurious
twin beds and en suite facilities. |
 |
The Stable Room- very much part of the original building
but with its own entrance. A ground floor room with a majestic king size bed
and en suite facilities. |
|
The Loft Room - a charming room above the Stable Room with
double bed and its own private adjoining shower room. |
All rooms are non smoking, and
have tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, clock radio, trouser
press and TV with Freeview. The views from these rooms are over our own paddocks and to the
forest beyond. Nothing has been spared to ensure the comfort of our
guests, as the Visit Britain 4 Stars, plus Gold Award rating implies.
Awarded 5 stars 'Excellent' by Environmental Health
for food hygiene standards.
There
is ample private parking. Storage for bicycles is available. As sheep & cattle are kept on this
smallholding we regret that we cannot accommodate pets. No children under
the age of 12 years. Payment is by
cheque or cash.
A hearty English breakfast is
provided.
|
| The New Inn, a country pub with a restaurant, is
within a few minutes walk, and offers a good selection of food, beers,
wines, and often live music. The Georgian town of Bewdley is only ten
minutes by car, and has many pubs and restaurants. The Severn Valley
Railway's Arley Station is within one mile, and we are a welcome resting
place for walkers on the Worcestershire Way and cyclists on Sustrans Route
45. Also nearby is West Midlands
Safari Park, the canal town of Stourport, and the shopping centres of
Merry Hill, Birmingham and Worcester all within easy reach by car or
train. |
| Nearby the Wyre Forest provides unrivalled woodland
walks and wildlife, also the River Severn is within easy walking distance
of Tudor Barn. Other local information will be found in your room, or you
