If you walk into Resurrection Lutheran Church at about 9:45 am on Sunday morning, you might think you’ve accidentally arrived at Union Station! Groups of people are standing around chatting, and there are a multitude of “flocks” of children threading through the crowd. Chaos? No, it’s just a part of Resurrection’s Family Life Ministry – known in some circles as Christian Education – in full swing.
The children are on their way to The Living Well – a unique and highly effective approach to Christian Education for kids. To learn about the underlying philosophy of The Living Well, click here.
Our current topic is “Paul and Silas in Prison”. If you’d like to review the current lesson and the teaching points being covered, click here.
Family Life Ministry is much more than Christian Education for children. This important component of our church life encompasses Adult Classes and Forums, Bible studies, our lending library, and much more. The Resurrection Lutheran Preschool – while a completely separate entity – is also part of Family Life Ministry, as are our fellowship events. Family Life Ministry is just as it’s name implies: life-spanning ministry to the church family.
Future updates to this page will provide additional information on these vital and exciting programs ... so come back soon!
