		The Kingdom Stompers return to Fredericksburg      So many of you enjoyed The Kingdom Stompers performance here last February. They are coming again this spring to Fredericksburg, this time to Christ Lutheran.  As you recall, the Kingdom Stompers are four bluegrass musicians who just happened to all be ordained Lutheran pastors.  They will be using their bluegrass-gospel style to lead a worship service at 5:30 on Sunday March 18th.  A mini-concert and refreshments will follow.

					Volunteer Sponsors Needed:  Resurrection Lutheran School is an organization of Resurrection Lutheran Church.  The school operates under it's own school board and budget.  Tuition is set to assure adequate funding to sustain the school's operation.  The school is dependent on registration and tuition payments.  Tuition is $85 a month for the three-year-old class and $120 a month or the four-year-old class. When families need financial assistance to pay their child's tuition, volunteer sponsors make up the deficit.  Financial assistance is given on a first come first serve basis when sponsors are available.  We are looking for volunteer sponsors to help those in need.  Please contact Teresa Cerritelli at 785-2937 if you are able to help with this ministry.

Middle School Youth

Confirmation and Middle School Youth Confirmation Classes will be on Sunday, the 4th and the 18th.  We are now studying the Apostle's Creed with Pastor's Jim and Carol leading the large group discussions. Youth Group will meet on Sunday, the 25th.  So that we may all attend the Pastor's Installation Service, there will not be any youth group on the 11th.

7th Day Retreat  On the weekend of Feb. 24th & 25th, ten of our 5th and 6th graders will be attending the Virginia Synod Retreat 7th Day.  The theme for this year's retreat is We're number One.  Our youth will be interacting with other youth from all over the Virginia Synod.  This will be the first retreat for some of us, so please keep us in your prayers.
