home in his teens
due to a domestic conflict with his step-mother who wanted

When his father died, Nagataka returned to Fukashi to reclaim his heirship
but was
forced out by his step-mother and half brothers. His name was darkened
from the
main genealogical index, and the Fukashi Ogasawara has long denied the
existence
and/or connection between them and Nagataka for centuries. He was forced to
leave
again and
first sought employment with the Oda but was refused. He then
went to Imagawa Kazusanosuke Ujichika where his family was employed for three
generations.
