In June of 2000 Mr. Lindemann announced he was shutting down his publication and moving on to other things. About The Editor
- UFO News-1 is edited by Gary Val Tenuta, a freelance writer
/ illustrator whose publication credits include several feature articles
in FATE Magazine. His article on the Majestic-12 Documents landed him a
guest spot on several radio programs across America and in Canada. In addition
to the UFO World News electronic journal, he writes a monthly column, UFO
News, which is published in seven regional editions of Journal Newspapers,
Inc. in the Greater Seattle metropolitan area. His UFO-related art and
illustrations have appeared on Television's STRANGE UNIVERSE, in FATE Magazine,
and at the Huntington Beach Art Center in California.
- Tenuta's affidavit of eye-witness testimony regarding his close-up sighting of the so-called Black Triangle UFO was one of 33 such affidavits presented to the federal court in attorney Peter Gersten's recent law suit against the Department of Defense. Gersten hoped to elicit information from the DoD regarding the Black Triangle UFO. The DoD claimed it had no information and the case was closed. As of May, 2000, Gersten was reportedly considering an appeal.
- Over the past few years Tenuta has been engaged in some unusual research looking into the possibility that the structure of the English alphabet may be encoded with numerical information which may, in turn, reveal clues to ancient mysteries when that alphabet is used to construct certain words and phrases. The premise is not so different from the ancient art of "Gematria" which was, and to some degree still is, practiced by the Greek and Hebrew mystics. Some of that work can be seen at Synchroni-City .
