The following restaurants and other food outlets, are my own choice of
ratings and the things that I look for are; cost, standard of the meal, service, decor and
reputation in the community. As Grimsby is known as "Europe's Food Town" there is a strong connection of fish on most of the restaurant menu's, here in Grimsby. There is a wide range of types of eating establishments and I suggest that you try them all ,as there is such a wide range of dishes available. Two of my favourite haunts is, The Larder in Bethlehem street, where I have had many a fine lunch and Chambers, a Restaurant Brassiere that serves the finest Coffee in Grimsby and makes a fine Breakfast of smoked Salmon and scrambled eggs.
