Every fall, Sistahs come from all over the country, and from distant cities around the world, to create Sistahfest, our own Black lesbian retreat.

Just miles up the Los Angeles coast we gather to transform the 120 private, wooded acres, just steps from the beach, into our own vibrant and nurturing SISTAHspace.

Nestled away in nature’s canyon, we discover our true common ground.We create a new world for the weekend; a world of discovery, acceptance, possibilities, and celebration!

Workshops, Music, Sports and More!

Sistahfest offers dozens of interactive workshops, lively discussion groups, and a dazzling array of performances, including comedy, dramatic readings, musicians, vocalists and dance. For sports enthusiasts, you'll have plenty of opportunity to work up a sweat with softball, and volleyball, and don’t miss the riotous relay races!

For Lovers of Nature

For the experienced nature lover or camper, you’ll enjoy the beautiful and serene wooded environment, perfect for pitching a tent, taking a hike, or just sitting beneath the old oak canopies.
