The purpose of this website is to provide the Internet with an accurate history of the original U.S.C.C., created on November 1861 during the American Civil War, as well as provide information and links for the reenactment groups who mean to truthfully represent the U.S.C.C. and minister to the troops in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Currently, there are four active missions known to us; one each in New England, Minnesota, PA/MD/VA area and the Midwest. Not only do we strive to teach people about the original Commission as accurately as possible, but we are also serious about the "Great Commission" and consider our groups as Christian ministries.
